it’s time for another Deep Ocean Challenge and this time we want to celebrate Summer, so…
WELCOME SUMMER!!
here is my card:
a cute Tilda with a blue flower, some butterflies and a Sunburst Ribbon.
I made the flower cameo with a air-dry sort of clay, it was an experiment but I like it very much… next time I’ll try to color it… we’ll see!!!

ormai e’ diventata una tradizione… un biglietto di buona estate a mia nipote Elena che, come tutte le estati, e’ in California dal papa’… quest’anno, visto che ormai siamo in agosto –ed ero parecchio in ritardo con il suo biglietto- ho pensato di aggiungere un paio di ciabattine di stoffa e un fermacapelli da abbinare al suo costume blu… un perfetto look da spiaggia americana !!!!
siate indulgenti con me… questo e’ il secondo paio di ciabattine che realizzo e come potete vedere sono tutto tranne che perfette!!!!
it is a tradition… send a summer card to my niece Elena who spend all the summers in California at her daddy… this time I add a couple of things…some handmade –and no so perfectly made, these are my second– pair of summer slippers and a hairpin…
per il biglietto ho usato un timbro HAnglar & STanglar colorato con I dostress ink pads, della stoffa, la stessa che ho usato per le ciabattine e fiori, decorazioni e bottoni vari.
I colored the hAnglar and sTanglar stamp with distress ink pads, for the card I used the same fabrics I used for the slippers and some flowers, embellishment and buttons.
il fermacapelli invece e’ stato fatto sempre con la stoffa delle ciabattine e con del tulle.
for the hairpin I used, again, the same fabrics to make the bow and I add some tulle.
