oggi ho una grossa novita’ da darvi… da questa settimana faro’ parte del DT del fantastico Deep Ocean Challenge!!!!WOW!!!
come primo lavoro per il Deep Ocean ho cercato di fare una cosa un po’ diversa dal solito…
…un piccolo giardino segreto da appendere in camera.
devo ammettere che sono un po’ fissata con I giardini segreti, e ho sempre fantasticato su come potrebbe essere un perfetto giardino segreto… ecco come mi piacerebbe fosse l’entrata…

today I have big news to share with you… I’m a proud new DT member of the amazing Deep Ocean Challenge…
this is my first work for the Challenge… a little secret garden to hang in your room…
I’m always being obsessed with secret gardens and this is how I’d like my secret garden entrance looks like.
per prima cosa ho fatto l’arco in pietra: ho preso del chipboard, ho tagliato I vari pezzi e li ho carteggiati per dargli una forma smussata; poi li ho colorati con il crackle colorato in grigio-azzurro. A quel punto ho assemblato l’arco, ho modellato il filo per la pianta rampicante e fatto I vari fiori… il muro esterno e’ fatto semplicemente usando l’emboss folder di Tim Holtz, distressandolo poi con Weathered Wood e Broken China. Il cancello (timbro hero Arts) e’ stato timbrato su dell’acetato e posizionato su una carta Basic Grey (Wisteria).
infine la Tilda e la staccionata, colorate con I distress ink pads.
Per completare ho aggiunto la sagoma di un uccellino in filo metallico(non so se lo vedete… e li, appollaiato sul cartello), strass e molte, molte farfalle!!!
first of all I made the arch: I cut the chipboard in pieces and then I sanded them to get that rounded look… then I painted them with a bit of distress crackle colored with a drop of black soot. I assembled the arch and I modeled the iron wire to make the climbing plant. the wall was made with this beautiful Tim Holtz emboss folder, distressed with Weathered Wood and Broken China. the iron gate (Hero Arts Stamp) was stamped on acetate and than put on a wonderful Basic Grey paper (Wisteria).
the Tilda and the Fence behind her was colored with distress ink pads.
to finish it, I added a little wire bird (can you see it? is right on top of the signboard!), paper flowers, rhinestones and lots of tiny butterflies!!!!
