a cute Tilda with a blue flower, some butterflies and a Sunburst Ribbon.
I made the flower cameo with a air-dry sort of clay, it was an experiment but I like it very much… next time I’ll try to color it… we’ll see!!!

finally Autumn has arrived, yesterday evening I even light my fireplace!!!I’m not a summer person… my ideal evening is stretching out on the couch reading a good book with a cup of hot tea while the fire is crackling in the fireplace, so cozy!!!!
This is my card for the new Deep Ocean Challenge…”Falls Colours”, perfect for this new season!!!!
As always I colored the Tilda with my distress ink pads and I put some glossy and stickles on the rose. I cut out the flowers and the leaves with my Slice.

this fortnight the theme is Happy Birthday… it couldn’t be easier!!!!
this is my card:
I love this fairy Tilda… she is adorable and I drool over longed haired Tildas (right, Alberto?!)!!! I painted her with distress pads, as usual, and I added some glitter on her skin, dress and wings for a more fairy look. I applied some gold leaf on the trumpet and some glossy on the bubbles. I used BasicGrey paper (Cappella and Green at Heart Collections) as background, a Making Memories ticket, some pearls, a lace and an old metal button. The white I-don’t-know-how-to-name-it something (maybe a frame?) on the top was cut with Slice Elite (Bravissimo Design Card).

this is my card:
I love the pirate Edwin…he’s so cute!!! I colored him with Distress ink pads and then I burnt the paper to get that old-torn-pirate-feel look…!!! I drew a pirate map -and burnt it, too- and I made some flowers with a piece of lace and a punch. Finally I added a piece of shell broke down with my handy hammer!!

today I want to share a little Heart card I made:
I wanted to make a yellow- grey card and this is the result…as you can see, I used the leftover of a swirl die as a background paper and I tried to make the flower using a heart shape punch.
the sentiment says “sowing the seeds of Love” and a little pocket hides a envelope full of gorgeous super fragrant Marigold seeds.

ho colorato la Tilda con I distress ink pads, aggiungendo un po’ di glimmer mist e di perfect pearl sui capelli e sulle ali per dare un tocco magico a questa fatina…
I bordi della card sono stati dipinti con del distress crackle bianco.
I fiori sono fatti con I punch EK, decorati con delle perle al centro mentre lo swirl e’ della Sizzix.
I colored this fairy Tilda with distress ink pads and I add a little bit of glimmer mist and perfect pearl on her hair and wings for a extra magic touch….
I painted the edge with with distress crackle
The flowers are made with EK punch and the swirl is Sizzix.

la Tilda e’ stata dipinta con distress pads cosi come il fiore, decorato con un timbro Hero Arts inchiostrato con del Glimmer Mist. ho poi usato del tulle (non avevo la garza…
I painted the Tilda with my distress Ink Pads. The flower is been stamped with a Hero Arts Stamp using some Glimmer Mist as ink.
then I add some butterflies, leaves, pearls and a lot of Stickles.
le braccia della Tilda sono state leggermente tagliate per poterle sollevare meglio.
I slightly cut the arms so I could lift them a little bit.
mi spiace per le foto orribili ma non trovo piu’ il caricabatterie della macchina fotografica e cosi’ ho duvuto usare il cellulare…!!!
I’m sorry for these horrible photos but I can’t find my camera battery charger so I had to use my cellphone!!!

ecco qui un paio di cornici che ho fatto in questi giorni: giuro che per un po’ non ne faccio piu’!!!
per tutte ho usato gli On the edge di Tim Holtz, fustelle Sizzix o punch EK, perle, nastri e pizzi, glossy e stickles vari.
questa, in particolare, e’ stata decorata con dei fiori fatti da me. I timbro che ho usato per fare lo sfondo sono Aladin Music Paper e Toga Arabesque z. le carte sono My Mind’s eyes.
questa invece l’ho fatta per l’insegnate di italiano di mia nipote Elena… anche in questo caso ho usato fiori fatti da me, colorati con distress e glimmer mist, e carte My Mind’s Eyes. visto che la cornice e’ per una professoressa, ho pensatodi aggiungere una lavagnetta su cui poi i ragazzi hanno scritto una dedica.
infine la cornice che ho fatto per il compleanno di mia sorella… a lei piacciono moltissimo l’azzurro e i toni pastello e soprattutto le ortensie (dovreste vedere quelle che ha in giardino… una meraviglia!!!) quindi ho pensato di usare questi bellissimi timbri Heartfelt Creations che ho colorato con I distress.
ed ora davvero… basta cornici!!!!

ecco il biglietto che ho fatto per la professoressa di italaiano di mia nipote Elena…
visto che e’ un insegnate di italiano ho pensato di usare una pagina di dizionario con la cancelleria (fotocopiata, ovviamente!) stropicciata e un po’ distressata.
e poi, per decorare un po’ di fiori fatti con punch EK o fatti a mano. infine una taschina con la tag.

I used a copy of my Italian dictionary, creased and distressed. then some flowers punched with EK punches or handmade and a pocket with a tag.

here is the last card I made…
…una fatina circondata da fiori!!!
…a little fairy surrounded by flowers!!!!
Il timbro e’ Greeting Farm, colorato con i pastelli acquerellati mentre le carte sono Basic Grey. ho aggiunto poi una tag Spellbinders (label 4) delle perle un po’ di pizzo e degli embellishment vari.
I fiori li ho fatti ritagliando della stoffa sintetica e scaldando I bordi vicino alla fiamma di una candela. Dopo averli assemblati, ho ripassato I bordi con un po’ di stickles.
The stamp is Greeting Farm, painted with watercolor pastels. I used Basic Grey papers, a Spellbinders Tag (label 4), some pearls, a lace and some embellishment.
I made the flowers simply cutting some synthetic fabric, then I heated the edges near a candlelight, I assembled the flower and then I put some Stickles on the edges.

Fortunatamente il Challenge di Timbroscrapmania di questa settimana e’ sulle recipe cards… una scusa perfetta per farne un’altra… era passato troppo tempo dall’ultima!!!!
per questa card ho usato carte October Afternoon e timbri Kars (le bandierine) e Recollections (la Lettera C). qualche farfalla dal punch di MArtha Stewart.
Per decorare Glossy e Stickles un po’ ovunque (come il mio solito…!!!).
e qui il risultato… le mezzelune ripiene di marmellata e nutella (fatta in casa)… eheeh!!!

ecco qui il bigliettino che ho fatto per Bottoni e Cuciture, il 26esimo challenge di Timbroscrapmania.
Il biglietto e’ abbastanza semplice, fatto in occasione del compleanno di un’amica: carte My Mind’s Eye, un pezzo di stoffa grezza con degli inserti rosa, un nastro e dei bottoni e infine il gufetto della Greeting Farm dipinto con distress pads.
assieme al biglietto c’era questo regalino…
anche qui niente di speciale: ho semplicemente ritagliato le lettere su una carta a stelle (non ricordo la marca…) e poi ho aggiunto dei fiori fatti con la carta lucido distressata, spruzzata con il glimmer mist e

Ho usato Carte Basic Grey e, per lo sfondo, timbri Hero Arts embossati e poi distressati con Victorian Velvet. La dolcissima Lil Fashionette e’ stata colorata con i pennarelli Tombow.
I used Basic Grey papers and, for the background, Hero arts stamps embossed and then distressed with Victorian Velvet. This cute Lil Fashionette is colored with Tombow Markers.
ho aggiunto anche del pizzo e un nastro e poi un sacco di fiori (Retro Flowers della Ek)-timbrati, embossati e glimmer mist-izzati…- e delle farfalle Martha Stewart.
I add a lace and a ribbon and lots of flowers punched with EK retro flowers punches –then stamped,embossed and sprayed with glimmer mist- and a couple of Martha Stewart butterflies.

few days ago a friend of mine asked me for a card for baby Giulia…
cosi’ ho pensato ad una easel card, da mettere nella sua cameretta, con una Tilda fatina….
per questa card ho usato carte Basic Grey (Olivia), una tag Spellbinders e dei fiori e foglie tagliate con la Slice (Paper Reverie).
la Tilda e’ stata colorata con i distress ink pad e Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist per le ali. Infine ho messo, un po’ ovunque, stickles e strass!!!
so I made this Easel card with a fairy Tilda for Giulia’s bedroom…
for this card I’ve used Basic Grey papers (Olivia), a Spellbinders tag and some flower and leaves that I cut with my Slice (Paper Reverie).
The sweet Tilda was colored with Distress ink pads and, for her wings, with Tattered Angel Glimmer Mist (iridescent gold). Finally I’ve put lot of stickles and strass almost everywhere…!!!
