hi everyone, how you doin’?

CIMG0714

CIMG0709CIMG0716

for the tree I use the pattern from this wonderful project, I simply re-sized it, stamped the cardstock with a Hero Arts background stamp and sew them.

I colored the Tildas with distress ink pads, handwrite the Noel sentiment and put some stickles on it. a bunch of snowflakes ( and a Tim Holtz snowflakes border) and that’s it!!! I finished it late at night and I had to take the photo right away…sorry, it looks so flat!!!! maybe I should take the pictures again…!!!

hope you like it…

my new two addictions: Pinterest and Bunting!!!!

hi everyone…

as most of you have already noticed, I joined the wonderful world of Pinterest… this photo sharing website it’s fabulous… you can find every sort of things, from recipes to home decoration tips, from outfit trends to craft tutorials! the fun thing of it is that it works by image searching and you can save –pin- your favorite results on different boards, share them to your friends, and follow other people so you can see what they pin. You can also add a “pin it” button on your website browser and pin every image you want from websites or blogs, even videos if you like. The other important thing is that when you pin and image you pin also its link to the web: in this way you always get the right credit to other people’s creativity.

I love it, it’s so great, it has lots of inspiring ideas and great tips…very useful… but I warn you… it’s quite addicting!!!! eheh!!!

now, in Pinterest I saw lots of buntings and was love at first time… this is what I made for my craft room (maybe I should have ironed my curtains, uh?! but I was too impatient to see the results…!!!)

Back to school…

Hi everyone…

today I made a bookmark with this cute Writing Tilda:

nib (1)

I drew a feather on a heavy cardstock and I placed a piece of wire in the middle. On a light brown paper I made a background with a script stamp and butterfly stamp, I cut it with the same feather shape and glued it on the heavy cardstock.

nib (3)

to add an extra vintage feeling, I used a real metal nib and I melted some sealing wax and then impressed it with a fleur-de-lis. A lace bow and some pearls complete the bookmark, ready to be use for all the books I’m going to study this year…

hope you like it…

with this I entered

TOMIC # Back to School + Metal

portatovaglioli

Hi everyone… this is my second post of the day but I want to publish my interpretation of Ribbon, the new Deep Ocean Challenge.

Ribbon it’s a very easy theme… we use ribbons everywhere…!!!! I used them on my napkin holders…

fiore

ciao a tutti,

Hi everybody,

this is the flower my niece Elena and I have made to complete her outfit for a dinner with her classmates…

I forgot to take a picture of her dressed up with make up and hair done… well next time!!!

IMG_5896

It’s very easy to make: we cut out our fabric in a flower shape (3 size) then glued together slightly crimped. I don’t remember how many layers of fabric we used… maybe 3 for each size…

IMG_5893

finally we glued the flower on a hairpin and… that’s it!!!

Spero vi sia piaciuto!!

Hope you like it!!!

with this little flower I entered the Deep Ocean Challenge #2

The first time I saw this project on One Lucky Day blog I HAD TO make it, it’ soooo beautiful!!!

Sara, a friend of mine, had a baby girl in October so I decided to make this door hanger for Anna, Sara’s daughter.

 CIMG0417

I made the background using a Tim Holtz embossing folder stained with brown and green ink before putting it in my loyal cuttlebug…

then I put some laces, a creased paper and a ribbon.

In the middle I put a Label (spellbinders n# 5) stamped with Waltzingmouse stamps, some glimmer-misted (Smile) flowers here and there and a little metal heart… and the door hanger was ready!!!

CIMG0420

baci

in the back (I forgot to take a picture… I’m sorry…Sad smile) I put a distressed paper (Victorian Velvet) stamped with some swirls just around the edges so, maybe, Sara can put on a photo of Anna sleeping in her beautiful nursery!!!

As Paula said on her post, this project is so easy that it took longer to write this post that to make the door hanger itself!!! And I really love it… I think I will make one for me… maybe without the sleeping beauty photo, eheh… Winking smile!!!

hope you like it…

custodia per pc

ciao a tutti,
