door hanger per Anna…

 

non ho resistito… lo devo ammettere… appena ho visto questo pannello nel sito One Lucky Day ho DOVUTO rifarlo… a modo mio!!!!

giusto quel giorno dovevo andare a fare visita a Sara, un’amica che a ottobre ha avuto una splendida bimba, Anna, e cosi’… quale occasione migliore se non questa per farle un door hanger…!!!!

The first time I saw this project on One Lucky Day blog I HAD TO make it, it’ soooo beautiful!!!

Sara, a friend of mine, had a baby girl in October so I decided to make this door hanger for Anna, Sara’s daughter.

 

per lo sfondo ho usato una embossing folder di Tim Holtz, inchiostrata di marrone e verde prima di infilarla nella mia fedele cuttlebug…

Poi ho aggiunto del pizzo e una fascia di carta stropicciata fermata da un nastro. sopra ho aggiunto una tag (Spellbinders Label 5) timbrata con i timbri Waltzingmouse dedicati a questa label. Qualche fiorellino spruzzato di Glimmer Mist e un cuoricino in metallo e il Door hanger e’ servito!!!!

I made the background using a Tim Holtz embossing folder stained with brown and green ink before putting it in my loyal cuttlebug…

then I put some laces, a creased paper and a ribbon.

In the middle I put a Label (spellbinders n# 5) stamped with Waltzingmouse stamps, some glimmer-misted () flowers here and there and a little metal heart… and the door hanger was ready!!!

sul retro (che ho dimenticato di fotografare…!!!) ho messo una carta distressata in Victorian Velvet e timbrata con degli swirl solo lungo i lati in modo da creare una cornice per una foto della bimba, magari mentre dorme beata nella sua cameretta…!!!

come diceva Paula nel suo post, questo progetto e’ veramente veloce… ci si mette piu’ tempo a preparare il post per pubblicarlo che a realizzarlo…!!!!! e mi sa che ne faro’ uno anche per me… ma senza foto della bella addormentata… eheh !!!

in the back (I forgot to take a picture… I’m sorry…) I put a distressed paper (Victorian Velvet) stamped with some swirls just around the edges so, maybe, Sara can put on a photo of Anna sleeping in her beautiful nursery!!!

As Paula said on her post, this project is so easy that it took longer to write this post that to make the door hanger itself!!! And I really love it… I think I will make one for me… maybe without the sleeping beauty photo, eheh… !!!
